All the world’s a stage, but obviously the play is unrehearsed and everybody is ad-libbing his lines. Maybe that’s why it’s hard to tell if we’re living in a tragedy or a farce.

I saw these guys in Dayton recently. They are just fusking awesome. They can play any type of music you can think of. They play so well together.

Back around 1984, I saw them play in a dive bar in Montebello, CA , where my friend and I were rather singularly Anglo. They blew the roof off the place and made me get up and dance. I never get up and dance. Later that year, they released Will the Wolf Survive? and people started paying attention. They really hit the big time when they did the soundtrack for La Bamba.
