    Different day different topic :)

Who saw this live and where.
    Shea Stadium for me.
    Police: Synchronicity
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0A154OavghI

It did tick me off a bit as we went out of our way to get really close seats and that at the last minute they opened up the field for general admission. It really would have been more annoying if they had not made use of the big screens to provide us with some detail of the performers on the stage. Great sound system everything sounded awesome but staring at ants on a stage would have been really annoying

Ahh yes the Police. A great band, very acute sense of timing, unusual time singatures, the things I really enjoy listening to.

Yes your so right I forgot about him... I was looking into steel a year or two ago and learned about him.
The instrument that caught my attention most was the Harmos
    http://harmosmusic.com/SG/indexSG.htm
He plays on some of their sample, really impressive.
However I took the cheap route to see if it was really for me, cheap lap steel, it wasn't. I want a fret without a doubt. I played about with violin for a few years but have reverted to instruments with frets. Now I am working on two hand tapping which seems to suit me best.

I suppose I should throw in a mention of Chuck and Darick Campbell of the Campbell Brothers Band. Sacred steel so be warned some of their videos have a lot Hallelujah Amen stuff in them, good Sacred Steel Players though.
This is a good one free of any Gospel church service stuff
