    Travel CW key

    Travel/nighttime/quiet operation simple CW key made from plastic, pop rivets, cable and plug.

    Nice job! I did something similar for my DC-30 but instead of plastic and pop rivets I soldered two tiny pushbuttons right to the 1/8" plug. Can be used as either a paddle or straight key.

    MFJ-561K, about $20.00. A bit high priced, but actually works well, strapped down so it doesn't move.

    I built one of these, long ago.But, I'm a ham-fisted slapper.

    Yeah, same here. I have a Vibroplex single-lever paddle, solid brass and steel. The sucker must weigh in at five pounds but I still manage to move it all over the desk when I'm sending code.
