I've had a K2, used a K3 during Field Day, seen how a friend's K1 does during FD on 20 CW. Would love to own something Elecraft again - the K2 was just too limited to be my only rig, and even on the other side of college the K3 is still out of my price range.

I'll be headed up to KU in a little under three months to study Civil Engineering and Spanish, but more importantly YLs and the K0KU club station.


I can tell you from experience, the first usually gets prioritized over the latter My school's ham club had a bad habit of meeting on Thursday nights, which happened to be the best party night off campus. I think I went to the club shack once.
