Hi, I'm running an ICV8000 for a receiver radio right now on a repeater link between two of my systems. I'm running vox now, which sucks because if you don't talk for more than 3 or 4 seconds, it drops out. Is there a COS or whatever mod I can do to it that could be used to run into a serial cable? Thanks
Never heard of one. Not sure why you would use a V8000 for the job. With all the PS agencies switching to narrowband there are a ton of old Moto's about for cheap that would be better suited to the task. In any event, good luck with your repeater. If I get to Monroe again I'll have to give it a try.
