    Can anyone at ESPN do basic math?

    OK, I guess the 'good' news is that ESPN.COM thinks that the Pirates will finish 3rd in the NL Central with 82 wins, their first non-losing season in 20 years.

    Yay, team, and all that.

    But here's what I don't quite get... this is their predicted order of finish, and their predicted max / min number of wins for each team. Now, look at this and tell me if you're seeing what I'm seeing:

    1. Cardinals 90 83
    2. Reds 97 87
    3. Pirates 82 72
    4. Brewers 84 74
    5. Cubs 80 72

    Really? :chin:

    Oh, I'm sure they can double-talk their way around this one, but c'mon...

    Oh, no. You misunderstood.

    Those columns are not teams / predicted wins / predicted losses.
    They are teams / maximum predicted wins / minimum predicted wins.
    Order of teams is predicted order of finish.

    So... the Cards are predicted to win the division over the Reds, but the Reds are predicted to have more wins? The Pirates are predicted to finish ahead of the Brewers, but the Brewers are predicted to have more wins? No, I don't THINK so.
