And I'm not sure you were wrong. Argo (the movie) wasn't bad, but surely not worthy of the hype.

I didn't see Lincoln so I can't comment on it but I did see Life of Pi and Beasts of the Southern Wild. Either one of those would have been a better choice for Best Picture than Argo. Argo wasn't a bad movie, it just wasn't Best Picture material IMHO.
