President of NASCAR confirms multiple injuries.. still no status.
That was something. I was at Talladega back in the 80's when a car tried its hardest to go through the fence. It delayed the race for 5 hours.
Hope the injuries aren't serious.

Daytona News Journal has unconfirmed reports of at least one fatality according to WDBO (news talk radio).
I saw the posted picture of the tire in the stands. I was at Indy back in the 80's when a tire jumped over the fence and went up into the stands. I didn't witness this, but the tire took some ones head off.

ESPN reports at least 15 fans were injured, one with massive head trauma..

28 injured, 2 critically. No dead. 1 of the most seriously injured was a child. Both of the critically injured have been upgraded to Stable. I hope all of the injured make a swift recovery. Hopefully tomorrows race will end better.
