Horseburgers....what do you think?
Horseburgers....what do you think?
I thought horses were herbivores. However, if one wants to eat a burger, I have no problem with that.
All the world’s a stage, but obviously the play is unrehearsed and everybody is ad-libbing his lines. Maybe that’s why it’s hard to tell if we’re living in a tragedy or a farce.
If a Hamburger is from Hamburg and a Frankfurter from Frankfurt, is a Horseburger from Horseburg? Yea or neigh?

Horse meat ain't so bad.. but if you're buying something labeled as beef, it sure as hell should be beef.
I was waiting to see if anyone had heard the latest food scandal from parts of Europe whereby varying quantities of horsemeat have been found in manufactured beef products such as burgers, beef lasagne and so on.
Horsemeat is OK to eat as long as it contains no phenylbutazone, an equine painkiller. It's about a fifth the price of beef (depending which cut that's referred to), but if you've paid for beef, beef is what you expect.
In the Western world we have such a close attachment to horses that many people would be upset to discover they'd been eating horse.
I think we had a thread on that somewhere.
We did.. Paul closed and deleted it.
