It wasn't directed at you. It was a general statement. Happy New Year.

Last year at this time is was about 29ºF and cloudy. The real rain didn't come until May and it didn't stop until August. For a few weeks, 4, we had a normal pattern but the rain came back.

By 10 a.m. Monday, the region had logged 11.42 inches of rain in December alone and 67.92 inches for the year, according to Justin Lane, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service at the Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport in Greer.
6th wettest year on record. 1901 beat this with 78.85 inches.

    Thats crazy!
We've been light on the rain around here until the last couple of weeks when it has almost caught up for the year. Weirdness in spades. The only problem with the sun coming out is it stays about 10-15* colder at night. Amazing how much warmer it stays under cloud insulation.

6 C, sunny, with a chance on a few rain drops.
    1 to 2 Beaufort.

Though the Alps are drowning in snow, we didn't see any winter here, bar the 1/2 inch snow that thawed away almost directly in December.
Yesterday 10 C and rain, today sunny and 5 C, at the end of the week maybe a change to some colder weather with a bit night frost, though still not certain.
Still watching what the SSW will do.
As things look now the new 4 season tires won't get much work this winter, though February is the coldest month here...

Well the all season tires are not working well here either. The swamp formally known as my front yard has almost swallowed my truck and the wifeys car several times recently. If the mud gets any deeper I may need to get a 4wd.
