    It looks like we'll catch a serious break in central VA due to this. Some stiff winds Friday/Saturday, and a few inches of rain. The ground here is super-saturated, so I wouldn't be surprised to see the near TS force winds take down some trees. We are way over our normal rainfall here this year.

    We are also supersaturated and things are also likely to fall over with the winds.

    Yeah, that's what I was thinking when I wrote the above. With the ground and trees heavily laden with water even diminished winds can easily topple trees.

    In just a couple months we'll be looking at the same weather maps but wondering which areas will be most affected by the blizzard.
