To all you folks in the Carolina's and along the Southeast and mid-Atlantic coast please be careful. This hurricane looks as it is going to be pretty intense as it eventually (and very likely) makes landfall. I am anticipating that this will noticeably affect the weather all up and down the coast to one degree or another. But right now it looks like the Carolina's and Virginia are going to see the worst of it. Again, please be careful and be safe.

Predictive models are putting SC back on as a direct target. Then curling south before being pushed back out and traveling up the coast.

Model changed again. They keep dropping it further south. We'll see.
It looks like we'll catch a serious break in central VA due to this. Some stiff winds Friday/Saturday, and a few inches of rain. The ground here is super-saturated, so I wouldn't be surprised to see the near TS force winds take down some trees. We are way over our normal rainfall here this year.
