A picture is worth 1000 words. A Two-Liter Empty Bottle of Dr. Pepper in the snow nearby. Bottle height 13"- top of bottle is even with the top of the snow. In the meadow, a bit of a walk in the snow, the depth is about 2 to 3" deeper.
