Yep ,air conditioners and fans are running again today. Expecting highs in the low 80's again. But after today it's over. Temps fall back into the 60's then into the low 50's all next week. I guess we got a little sample of what they used to call""Indian Summer".
Problem with the weather here is most people are either running the air conditioning or else heating their homes. Either way, hot or cold it keeps Con Edison and the Oil companies happy.

A very brisk 30 degrees in Bemidji Minnesota! Gonna have to run the bunk heater later on methinks. Great sleepin weather. Just hope the locals aint partying too hard at the local walmart. Dont want no noise tonite
Ah,finally it feels like October should. The heat and humidity left us over last night. Today I woke to a nice 45 degrees F. Might see temps dipping even lower over the next few days and we can expect our first freezing night tues or wed. Need no fans not air conditioners today. I got the north west facing window in the office open here, the north west wind is blowing right in and keeping the temperature in here at a nice comfortable 61-62 deg. I'm wearing a short sleeved shirt and feeling fine. Just a bit of a nip when a strong gust blows inside.

Triple digit weather at the end of October? Really? 100+ degrees yesterday breaking records in several categories. The rat is really ready for a cool down, and no it isn't global warming, just fucked up high/low pressure systems.
