90º days and 73º nights. Pretty consistent. A little unusual for this time in September.

It's been raining here all day (for the first time since last May) thanks to a residual moisture from Tropical Storm Paine. Looks like about 0.3" total so far. And—no joke—the national weather service actually called me to ask about the weather this morning. I'm a registered weather spotter and their radar showed a big cell right over my location so called to ask for the current rate of precip. I had to disappoint them because all I have is a simple rain gauge that accurately records totals but doesn't give rates.

All the world’s a stage, but obviously the play is unrehearsed and everybody is ad-libbing his lines. Maybe that’s why it’s hard to tell if we’re living in a tragedy or a farce.

It was 100 on Sunday. It will be in the low 70s the rest of the workweek. Then back up into the 90s again, then back down to the 70s.

Hottest September in my memory and I've been in this area since 1968.

It's been in and around the low 20 degrees Celsius for the last few weeks here, unusually high for this time of year with our monsoon season almost upon us.Now they are saying it will be an El Nino/La Nina neutral winter so nothing big should happen weather wise around here supposedly.........Carl can keep the bad weather in his area .........
Why,driving into a brick wall at 60 miles per hour, would I expect it not to hurt!

Same here on Lake Michigan... We're still in summer- except at night.

Damn, I love Santa Ana season

    Weather for Lemon Grove, CA:

    Conditions: Clear Temp: 33°C/93°F
Humidity: 22% Wind: WSW at 8kph/5mph (gust 11.9kph/7.4mph)
Alert: Heat Advisory until Mon 20:00 PDT
Alert: Beach Hazard Statement until Sun 20:00 PDT

Must be a hell of a beach hazard, too, seeing how I'm ten miles inland.
