4" - 6" predicted here, with some freezing rain to enhance the pain index. That's tomorrow, we'll be in the mid 60's today.
QAnon / GOP Republicans mentally lack the necessary intelligence to even tell a decent lie (Ex: A cabal of Satanic, cannibalistic pedophiles run a global child sex trafficking ring and conspired against former President Dotard dRUMPf during his term in office... Jewish space lasers, etc.). What in the hell makes anyone believe these melon heads can actually govern?

If it would just warm up 28 degrees here, it would be freezing.

We are also supposed to get 4-6" of snow on top of a layer of ice today, but so far there is only a very light dusting... so far!

    But remember....

    Doesn't matter! Why?

"Well, I don't care if it rains or freezes,
Long as I have my plastic Jesus
Riding on the dashboard of my car
    Through all trials and tribulations,
    We will travel every nation,
With my plastic Jesus I'll go far."

("Plastic Jesus" is an American folk song written by Ed Rush and George Cromarty in 1957.)

Yesterday was mostly cloudy, with a high of 60,
and calm wind--great time to be outdoors.
Temp has been falling ever since, now at 18,
along with freezing sleet, and later flurries,
better known as a "wintery mix."

Today on the hemp pile: 66 and fair. Storm total was 0.46" of rain...downpour last night.

Quite a storm, it got pretty windy here last night—windy enough to take down the fiberglass mast supporting the southeastern end of my 40m dipole even though I'd slackened it up considerably:

No big, just no 40m operations for a while. I have a 40' steel mast I can use to replace it but the bastid is heavy and I'll need some help getting it set up.

All the world’s a stage, but obviously the play is unrehearsed and everybody is ad-libbing his lines. Maybe that’s why it’s hard to tell if we’re living in a tragedy or a farce.
