It could be worse, stuck under a fat woman on a subway train stuck in snow.
I would think it would be warm there.

Ah yes... the good ol 7 local from Manhattan to Willets Point (Shea Stadium) and when running to the layup, Main Street . That train runs over some treacherous elevated track but.... never outdone by the "Love train" (aka the L aka the Canarsi Line). BTW Subway trains don't get stuck in snow... they just slow down,.. Wayside block signals and speedposts are not easy to see in a whiteout.

Cool satellite pic of the storm that's currently lingering over CA and will be heading east to wreak havoc upon all you easterners over the next few days. Dig that classic spiral, with a hurricane-like eye!

All the world’s a stage, but obviously the play is unrehearsed and everybody is ad-libbing his lines. Maybe that’s why it’s hard to tell if we’re living in a tragedy or a farce.

Encrypt everything. Even if you have nothing to hide. It increases the noise floor.

About an inch and a half here, not nearly as much as promised. We need far more.

Yeah, we got a bit today, as well. But since my rain gauge is FU, I have no idea how much.

man I kid you not. we got a touch of snow (stopped for now) but after this snow stopped there is a real odd odor in the air. its not normal wood fire or house fire smell (plus been no FD activity all night) its the strangest damn smell I have ever smelled. plus the snow is real gritty like sand
