Cold and damp today but it's supposed to warm back up and be damp over the week.

Even getting to the basement during a blizzard is dangerous here as you have to go outside to access the basement door. I usually take a guide rope because it is too easy to get lost out there with 0 visibility, driving snow and sudden drifts which could catch you and bury you in a second.

Ice in the forecast, and I have an odd urge to go running out there...

    Tomorrow morning should be fun.

Well, it warmed up a little today so it could snow. It's a really dry, fluffy snow - very high air to water content, due to the low temperatures. Driving is an adventure because the fine powdery snow makes traction interesting. It's fun to watch cars at stoplights as they spin their wheels when the light changes.

Tingle in my bones just thinking about the weather.
Quiver in my voice as i cry.
Such a cold and a rainy day.
Where on earth is the sun, anyway.

Meeeee too. It's only gotten down to 24F so far this winter, but it did freeze my basil plant all to hell. There goes pizza night.

You're welcome to join Maxwell and me, out here in the desert if you like, eh?.
