That's our angry god punishing us for homosexuals and not being conservative enough. Hmmm. Wonder why he doesn't smite the French more.

Cloudy and 45F here today. Hope the rain holds off until the flood waters recede a little more.

62 °F (17 °C) and cloudy with a 20% chance of thunderstorms on the Islets. T-storms are relatively rare here, maybe two or three a year.
All the world’s a stage, but obviously the play is unrehearsed and everybody is ad-libbing his lines. Maybe that’s why it’s hard to tell if we’re living in a tragedy or a farce.

Today is cloudy and a little bit cooler than the previous days, at 86 °F (30 °C). A 30% chance of thundershowers tonight and then back into the 90's tomorrow.

Temps on a downward trend over the next few days. Sucks. Mid 40s tonight highs in mid 50s for the weekend.

Send some of that liquid sunshine this way.

Alrighty......I decided to bump this thread up and let everyone know that today we set a new heat record for this part of Vancouver Island.....32 degrees Celsius! ........ I've never known it to have ever got this warm in May...... with 15% humidity one would find in the dessert of Nevada!
I'm hoping things are normal for everyone else across the continent..... it's like a weather switch has been flipped when we went from April to May ........ most Bizarre
Why,driving into a brick wall at 60 miles per hour, would I expect it not to hurt!

Crack open an Okanagan peach cider! That's what I'd do.

As a new member of the Children of the Corn, we don't get the great BC cider here.
