Happy Easter.
80º, humid, slight wind and pollen for days!
Since august last year almost every month brought 2 x the normal amount of rain...
A prolonged Autumn so to say, hope his month Spring really arrives..

We’re over 135% of our average rainfall so far this season, with more on the way over the weekend. That’s two wet winters in a row. All the reservoirs are at capacity and there’s a good snowpack in the Sierra Nevada, something that’s uncommon for California.

All the world’s a stage, but obviously the play is unrehearsed and everybody is ad-libbing his lines. Maybe that’s why it’s hard to tell if we’re living in a tragedy or a farce.
I don't have any statistics for this, but it certainly does seem that we here in the (rain) forest are running a little behind in the water aspect this year again. Things are changing and it isn't hard to see if one is paying attention.

We sure have had a lot of rain lately. The seeds in the bird feeders has begun to sprout.
We're in our usual springtime pattern of persistent low clouds and cool temperatures (currently 60°F), known locally as “May Gray” and "June Gloom." This bothers the tourists, who come here for warm sunny beach weather, but residents don’t mind since we know that it will eventually give way to “July Fry.”

I only come down to the metropolis in Dec/Jan., for that exact reason. July Fry? Lol. It's hot here then too, so why bother?
Friends in Norco/Corona areas. Christmas is a great holiday in Socal.
Considering a summer home in VK, since their weather in QLD is similar to what a nice winter break in LA provides. Yeah, when that lottery ticket pays off.
Oh, back to topic. Low 70's today with partly cloudy periods. Just in time to finish moving 50 bales of hay to the belly bunker

Summer has arrived and the heat wave leakage that has traveled north up from that powerful heat dome over California has been cooking us up for the last few days. Temperatures getting into the low 30 degrees Celsius mark in record temperature territory, but still not anywhere near the Temps of our own heat dome hell of 3 years ago where we hit the unheard of temperature of 43 degrees C! Climate change is so wonderous!!
Why,driving into a brick wall at 60 miles per hour, would I expect it not to hurt!
Walk and Talk like a Canajun!!
Boy howdy! Hot af here, records dropping all around me. Saw 35° on the post today, nooze says tomorrow is to be hotter yet, then cooling slightly as the week goes.
