More like delirious, one hot day and we're back to cold, damp and rain.

Oh good grief, either those bricks were laid on swampy soil or it was a 55,000lb/24,947kg/27t armored van.

10 years parking in the same spot with a 1900 Kg van ( empty) will do that just as fine.
Now the new car is 833 Kilo empty... lots more economic in fuel as well, and my first automatic transmission i bought... ending 42 years stick shifting cars vans and articulated lorry's till the next car, still miss the shifting though, don't know what to do with my left foot now...

Tundur strom last night. Cleared up all the pollen which was PROFUSE! I guess this makes more room for more pollen. 75º currently with 10mph winds out of the SW.
Mowed the lawn yesterday just in time for the rain. Charged up the battery, fixed the left front tire, sharpened the blades, knocked down the half of the apple tree that was broken and chopped up the branches through the blade deck and ran the black walnut pods through the blades and that polished up the inside of the blade deck.

65 °F (18 °C) and sunny with a bit of breeze blowing in off the ocean. Yet another perfect day in San Diego. Yawn.
All the world’s a stage, but obviously the play is unrehearsed and everybody is ad-libbing his lines. Maybe that’s why it’s hard to tell if we’re living in a tragedy or a farce.

Low of 38°F/High of 41°F (4°C/5°C) today with heavy rain until 2PM EDST (1800 GMT).

Cool and wet, my kind of day. This is typical April weather in the area.

Very rough weather here today. Intense blinding rain, mixed with freezing rain at times, and incredible wind gusts Rain was coming down horizontally in sheets. Wind gusts must have been at least 80-90 hurricane gusts from early morning to late afternoon.

This comes on the heels of a severe thunderstorm on Wednesday. Rolled in about 7:00pm with black clouds, very heavy downpours, intense lightning, brutal wind gusts, large hailstones and likely some tornado activity. Thunderstorm lasted well over 12 hours from 7:00pm Wed - 8:00 am Thursday.
I keep my 2 feet on the ground, and my head in the twilight zone.

The 10mph winds out of the SW turned into 35mph winds that the NWS turned a blind eye to. While scooting around, one direction I had to fight the wind while in the other the tailwind gave me such a boost that I did zero to 35 in under 3 seconds. While facing the wind, tucking helped but did not negate the total effect of having a giant hand holding you back and keeping my RPMs down.

You got the wind? It died down right before it got here and picked back up right after that. Just heavy rain here.
