Rather unusual cold for this late in March in this area. Incredible difference between this March and last year. Last year it was almost hot and I remember running the AC for a spell. This March quite wintery.

High here was 89F yesterday. Last Sunday, the early morning temperature was in the high 30's, but it warmed up to 82, by lunchtime.

Above freezing here, a warm night. But just to the north what looks like Lake Effect Snow hitting the Catskills and Kingston (where I spent Weds and Thurs).

Now that this weeks 8" snowfall is almost gone, snow is being forecast for Sunday night. Praying for rain.

Well, I'm looking forward as to what to expect for the next week. Maybe it will be warm and sunny.

About 18-20" of fresh snow, starting to let up a little. 16 degrees. Winter came back.

Shot from earlier storm this year... I live on Snowshoe Trail, at 8500'.

Nice scenery. Nothing I like more than cold temps, snow, and pine trees. Hopefully I'll be seeing a lot of that when I retire and head way way up in the north country.

We are under a severe thunderstorm watch until 2:00am. Looks like it will be a long night for drinking beer.
