Last Friday, we had a nice spring snowstorm. 15" at my house.

Pretty much melted now. Saturday and Sunday were great ski days!

For several days we've had that kind of weather where it looks like it's going to rain and the wind kicks up while it's all cloudy and then ... nothing.
Should I cut my grass? Should I take the bike out? Open windows, close windows? Water the garden?
Today it was supposed to rain a gully washer. A few minutes of fat drops interspersed in the mostly mist. By 5pm it was warm and sunny. Cut the grass?

It's been nothing but rain for two days.

    It's raining today.

Cant find a sun-dome. We ran into one but it was destroyed by Venusians.

Boltz committed suicide by drowning himself. Cooper, lightning. Simmons... not sure I want to talk about that.

    I alone survive.

I may yet cut the grass! As soon as I buy a truckload of fire ant killer and a jug of petroleum distillate.

Watch out for those fire ants. I had an encounter with just 2 of them on my left arm a couple years ago and I wound up in the emergency room a few days later with an arm infection.
I keep my 2 feet on the ground, and my head in the twilight zone.

It's been dry here for weeks now but the NWS is predicting a strong cold front to arrive this weekend, with rain and thunderstorms. Spring storms always bring the most interesting weather to SoCal; tornadoes/waterspouts are not unheard of.
All the world’s a stage, but obviously the play is unrehearsed and everybody is ad-libbing his lines. Maybe that’s why it’s hard to tell if we’re living in a tragedy or a farce.

I always was under the impression that California was one of the few parts of the United States that doesn't have tornadoes ? In general however the United States gets more tornadoes than any other country in the world,
