    I'd probably have to. Going around Cape Horn would take forever and since Panama took over the canal they've discouraged the passage of small boats. Too bad, really, that was on my bucket list.

    After studying a tsunami inundation map for the area, I'd probably just have to motor out into San Diego Bay about a mile until the wave passes. The risk from tsunamis here is not nearly as severe as it is up your way.
