Notice the only place on that map not on fire (that is a fire map, isn't it?) is the PNW? All this rain must keep the fire danger lower.

local NWS office is predicting a mid month flip, warm 1st part of Nov, then turning cold with snow. but enough of the 1st half warm will keep the avg temp above normal. we had 80s for 1st 3 days in Nov. last time we had 80 in Nov was 1950.

Interesting to note that at 11:30 AM on this day in November the digital thermometer on my house hit 19 degrees Celsius! .......it's never been 19 degrees on Vancouver Island in November.....ever! 17 degrees on Monday,18 degrees on Tuesday now this..... looks like new record territory. Bizarro :chin:

If you hide the rectal one, it will feel just fine back home in it's warm dark orifice. Let the others suffer their fate as the global warming phenomenon sees fit.

    Oh, still raining here, 55*f

Global warming. But our new leader thinks that climate change is "bullshit". By the time his 4-8 years are up you might be seeing 35 deg C in winter...in the YUKON !! Forget about anywhere further south.

Problem is, if I need to use it on a tarantula or some other creature, I have to wait a day or two to do so.

It cooled off here in Sacramento. Upper 30s forecast for the next two nights, then a bit warmer later in the week. Days will be in the upper 50s/low 60s. And we will finally see some snow in the Sierra Nevada this weekend.
