Highs only in the upper 70's , nights in the upper 50's to low 60's. It will be a pleasure. Hopefully this is our first hint of seasonal change.

...and you do like it cold. You'd like it in Barrow and with a KL7 callsign everybody would consider you DX. Think of the possibilities!

Mentioning cold, the NWS office down in SLC mentioned 'Fall-like' temps here in the valley and snow hitting the peaks of the Wasatch and Uintah's by Wednesday down to the 9K foot level. My kids have been curious about snow skiing, so we know that Winter is just around the corner.

Got into the 40s last night. High today of 76 and then back into the 80s the rest of the week.
Time to put lighter oil in the car and bike.

If you mean by radio, not at the present time. My friend back in Iowa was keeping my gear safe for me while I was in Germany. I will hopefully have everything back in my possession soon.

Despite being in the midst of one of the worst droughts ever, this year San Diego County received the largest amount of summer rainfall on record—3" (76mm). The previous record was 2.13" (54mm) in 1977.

Typically, this area receives less than 1" (25mm) of rainfall in the period between the summer solstice and the autumnal equinox.
All the world’s a stage, but obviously the play is unrehearsed and everybody is ad-libbing his lines. Maybe that’s why it’s hard to tell if we’re living in a tragedy or a farce.
