    I highly doubt that it would pass NYS DMV for use on public thoroughfares. NYS has one of the tougherst motor vehicle departments in the nation.

    Safety issue. Right? It could pass all the normal street legal stuff like lights and turn signals but in NY, one single bureaucrat could simply say it's like being a pedestrian in the street. Crash tests would prove that it would have to be made into some cumbersome item to be used in NY.

    I concede that for all it's good points New York has one major flaw... It is a big time nanny state.
