    Photography thread.

Ive been trying to improve my skills in this area in hopes that i can get good enough to make a little bit of money doing it one day. I have simplified my gear and the way i carry it to save my back and time....sling bag ($100 Lowepro sling bag i got for $36 from a camera store that was going out of business, along with a cool, airgel neck strap for the camera itself for $10...score!), monopod that doubles as a walking stick/weapon, small tripod that fits inside the bag nicely, filters so i dont need lens caps anymore, microfibre cloth...as well as good hiking shoes and gear so i can get to locations better. I even carry a pointed Kubaton for city shoots. I dont like taking pictures of people, but ill jab one in the pecs and traps if they try to gank my shit. But i digress....

I am really starting to geek out in this field, and i know there are some bad ass photographers on the Island...nothing special here, lets talk gear, share photos, help oneanother...i could sure use it, and would simply enjoy reading or having conversations about it. My website has been transformed into nothing but photography, i have stowed away the pens and paper as art has no place in this dead city, but photographers are still respected. Ok, show off time!

Here are a couple of pics i resized. I am now starting to notice flaws and imperfections in my older shots that i was all proud of that i never noticed before...and frankly, im appalled! These days, I am trying to get bright, exciting and interesting shots with minimal post-editing, next to no cropping, and as little digital noise and over-saturation as i can. I hope to be as good as some of you veterans (Bob '0RT) and would love to hear from you guys...and by all means, post your shots! I would love to see them, it really helps.
