I showed your last two to the XYL. She said "Finally, those flashbacks they've been promising us all these years. Now he's got to come up with a jet-pack, god damn it!"
All the world’s a stage, but obviously the play is unrehearsed and everybody is ad-libbing his lines. Maybe that’s why it’s hard to tell if we’re living in a tragedy or a farce.
I've ignored this thread.. as I had a similar scare. I was literally told I had pancreatic cancer. With specific clarity and definition..
Well it was wrong... I had operable cysts on my pancreas. It wasn't a fun situation.. but I'm alive and grateful. Doctors kinda suck. :) Take care of yourself but never assume the worst until the worst is right in front of you..
"Hey, you're 31 years old.. and you're gonna die in a few months. Happy days!" - WTF is that shit? Wake up on the other end of that diagnosis.. I don't recommend it.
John, I'm surely glad you are as fortunate as I am.. a scenario like this sucks.. I speak with authority, as you do. No one should deal with this..

The Barkeep has gotten into the absinthe again.

Reminds me of smoky nights with friends, black light posters and light show animation by Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds.
