The noise blanker on the Corsair was designed to knock that particular annoyance right the hell out.
That is the first video I have ever seen of someone actually climbing it, shot in HD no less. The guys are a couple of goofballs but the array is still amazing even today.

I noticed one of the guys was carrying a Geiger counter. At one point you could hear it clicking to the background radiation levels. As I have come to understand curious people venture in to the Chernobyl area to look for radiation "hot spots" where perhaps a small particle of some isotope may be embedded in the soil. I have also heard it is a code of ethics among Chernobyl explorers that if they do find such hotspots to leave them untouched.
