I have been to the last two events. I survived the volcanic crap. Saw Ron there in 2012. Brought N8WTF with me this last time. We had a blast.
Let me know if you're attending this year. 'DSG's birthday falls around that time and we usually have fun celebrating it on Friday.

Not to derail the thread (much), but FWIW, I plan to be at Dayton in 2013. My "base of operations" in the flea market will again be the WACOM booths... there's quite a bit of membership overlap between WASH & WACOM, so we do things like this quite often.
And speaking of the, ah, volcanic crap... I was in the flea market when the, ah, eruption took place. I'm just glad I was wearing my hiking boots, not sneakers or tennis shoes, or they would have been ruined! Dodged most of it, helped one or two vendors move tables quickly out of the way, which was about all you could do... "yuck" doesn't begin to cover it...
