    Hard Cider :)

In 14 days (Give or take), I'll be trying my first attempt at hard cider :)

Now, it's time to just sit and wait it out. I can't wait to give this a try. My wife is kind of in wonder,"I can't believe we're making alcohol here in the house." My kids thinks it's cool. The eldest said,"It's biology and chemistry, all in one!"

Debating on whether or not I should go and get another bucket to start another batch :)

My grandfather makes wine and brandy at home. It is interesting.

Now, as for hard cider, it is a very common thing here and can be had so cheaply that making it yourself is not needed.

That being said, hope it turns out well and you enjoy it.

I tried to make hard cider when I was in grade school, and discovered how to make something beyond vinegar. Man, was that stuff was some nasty, awful, shit.

I worked with a young lady one time whose married name was Sherry Richwine. One of those names that really sticks with you. She never spoke of making alcohol at home though.
