    Another Enterprise retires

    http://blogs.defensenews.com/interce...name-lives-on/

The USS Enterprise has returned to port for the last time under her own power. This is one destined never to be a museum ship. The removal of the eight reactors will leave her structurally unsound.

All the world’s a stage, but obviously the play is unrehearsed and everybody is ad-libbing his lines. Maybe that’s why it’s hard to tell if we’re living in a tragedy or a farce.

It's too bad. All those years flying through deep space, boldly going where no man has ever gone before and now the enterprise may not even have a place as a historical museum piece ? I hope they do give appropriate historical recognition to Captain Kirk, Spock, Scotty, Bones, Soo Loo, Uhura, Anton Chekhov, and the entire Enterprise crew.
