Another chance to share my favorite Thanksgiving story, rumpus-room type...

I went over to watch the balloons being blown up in '93. Back then, it wasn't the big, commercial, controlled tourist thing that it is today, it was very low key and hardly anyone even knew it was something you could do. So it was pretty much locals from the neighborhood, like kids in pajamas and families out to watch. No barricades, no crowd control or anything like that was in evidence.

So I'm walking around seeing all the balloons and helium trucks (obvious thing, but hadn't occurred to me before I went over there is they aren't filled with a dime-store sized tanks of helium, but by big mf'ing semi-trailers.) and I spotted Bart Simpson and Betty Boop. Something looked funny, Bart was face down. THEN I realized that he was face down doing some muff diving for Betty's benefit. DAMN!!!!!! One of those WHERE THE F IS MY CAMERA? moments.

Sigh.

Not really. George Takei posted it from a fan. All I know was it was taken the night before the parade. Those kids must be getting traumatized with all that gratuitous s*x.
