    WASHFest 2013 - 24 February 2013

    18th Annual WASHFest 2013, the South Hills Hamfest, sponsored by the Wireless Association of South Hills ARC.

    24 February 2013, 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Rain or Shine (or Snow!)

    Location: Castle Shannon VFD Memorial Hall, 3600 Library Road (State Route 88 , Castle Shannon PA 15234)
    Talk-in on 146.955(-)(131.8 PL) Call: N3SH (W3WN operating)

    Main Prizes:
    1st - Yaesu FT-897D
    2nd - Kenwood TM-V71A
    3rd - LDT AT-200 Pro 2
    4th - Clear Speech Speaker

    Additional Hourly Door Prizes! At least one Black Box prize (separate drawing).

    DXCC & WAS Card Checking will be available.

    Free Coffee for the entire hamfest, courtesy of Ham Radio Insurance Associates of Canonsburg PA

    Admission $5 per person. Main Prize tickets $2 each, 3/$5, 7/$10, 15/$20

    Vendor Tables are $10 each without electricity, $15 each with. Reservations must be paid in full on or before 31 January 2013; reservations received on or after 1 February 2013 must include payment in full.

    I might just bop over for that, depending on snow. It's really not that far from central Illinois.

    Well, you weren't able to make it when you lived only about an hour north of here...

    In all seriousness, I normally only go to two hamfests a year. Breezshooters (Have only missed it once in 10 years, last year) and Cuyahoga Falls. Last year however I did not make it to any hamfests.

    Yeah, but you have to go through Ohio, land of America's Worst State Police, to get from IL to western PA.
