Anyone ever plate modulate a Cheyenne?

I'm thinking that's the least invasive way to get hi-fi AM in the car. Seems easy enough. Guess the other alternative would be to drive the modulator in the G-76 with an external amp.

Dunno much about it, but I believe it'd be pretty much a home brew thing & that would probably get done about 2050, if ever.

Hmmm... Need it be plate modulated to gain hi-fi ? Think of the multitude of plate modulated rigs that sound lo-fi until they are modded.

This Cheyenne dares you to try and modulate him:

All the world’s a stage, but obviously the play is unrehearsed and everybody is ad-libbing his lines. Maybe that’s why it’s hard to tell if we’re living in a tragedy or a farce.
