We are being pummeled by a sou'wester today. Winds are spinning in in speeds of at least 60-70 mph. The roar of the wind is deafening. Friend of mine in Brooklyn is reporting even higher winds up to 90 mph. It's brutal out there. This is your global warming.

We had very high winds here also, but the forest filtered a lot of it out. The trees were definitely swaying, but I doubt if it was as bad as Brooklyn got. Things are likely to get worse over time.
