With people dropping like flies lately, I was afraid to open this thread up. I know he's old, but I didn't want to find out that Carroll Shelby had passed on.

Damn. Just found out he recently did on May 10th. I'm not gonna miss this world when I go. The next Cobra is already being built. In heaven. ;)

Sadly, I will not make it to Shelby again this year. However, I should make it next year. Should be setup back in PA by May of 2013.

Probably be the only way to drive one now. Imagine... Shelby bolted on some parts and came up with the AC Cobra.

Worse yet, they couldn't move the Cobras and King of the Road versions when they were in the showrooms. I know if I was around, I'd have found a way to get one. There's got to be a lot of guys kicking themselves for not buying one when they could. These cars are among the most sought after and highest priced vintage cars around.
