Finally got around to fixing an R-5000 that I picked up a couple of years ago from another estate. It had the dreaded "dots across the display" problem that certain Kenwood receivers and transceivers of that era are known for. Think TS-440. It is now fully functional, so it's time for it to leave.
The covers have numerous scratches. Electronically, 100% functional. Has the standard SSB and CW filters. Pictures available upon request. Radio and AC cord only.$425$400 plus shipping.
