The odd thing here is the fact that Fred Rogers, while he was alive, would calmly and quietly carry on with his work despite all the accusations of ruining our kids and turning them into pansies, rumors of his personal life, screaming about this or that, etc. He would simply press on because he knew, like he would know today were he still alive, that people are going to say what theyre going to say and do what theyre going to do and all he can do is follow his heart and do what he feels is right.
I respect Fred Rogers and the work he did immensely.
