    Great Idea Updated

Remember in history how the early church sold indulgences to members for forgiveness of sins?

Well, now you can offset the cheating on your partners by paying others for not cheating.

(I think the carbon footprint offsets were the inspiration for this scheme) ;)

"When you cheat on your partner you add to the heartbreak, pain and jealousy in the atmosphere. Cheatneutral offsets your cheating by funding someone else to be faithful and NOT cheat. This neutralises the pain and unhappy emotion and leaves you with a clear conscience."

I thought that is what a confessional was for? Guess this would be for those who are not catholic.

If we go back to pre-reformation days, can we give back autonomous spiritual powers back to nuns?

Nuns were stripped of the powers after Martin Luther took over. He also took the spirituality out of religion and made it purely a patriarchal governing body. Mysticism was declared heresy and heresy is punishable by death.
