Looks like the poor bastid was not 'prayed up' when he picked up the deadly viper. He must have had an unclean thought looking at the teenagers in attendance.

All the world’s a stage, but obviously the play is unrehearsed and everybody is ad-libbing his lines. Maybe that’s why it’s hard to tell if we’re living in a tragedy or a farce.

Some parts of the scripture are historical.

    Other parts are allegorical.

When doing something, anything, literally according to the scripture... you'd better know which is which.

And it wouldn't hurt to have an accurate translation from ancient Aramaic into whatever tongue YOU are fluent in, lest there be a misinterpretation due to a mistranslation.

He had seen his father die of a snakebite when he was teenager, the Daily Mail reported.
And, apparently, his father was successful in passing along the Stupid gene....

But not him, fortunately. From a Washington Post article on the deceased:

Wolford’s family avoids the practice. None of his children and stepchildren even go to church.

Obviously the kids didn't get that gene from dad's side of the family. Well, not that we've seen yet.

The stereotype isn't flying, it's sitting up on concrete blocks in your front yard. ;)
