    What I did Memorial Day

I went to my brothers grave and performed a bikers gravesite sacrament. it involves pouring beer on the grave, and I placed the empty can on his headstone. I know he would have wanted this. His written instructions for his funeral were ignored. i did this out of duty, one brother to another.

I also drove to the Westcott House. Designed inside, and out by Frank Lloyd Wright. There are not too many places in the world you can see the classic Wright Prairie homes. My small home town happens to be one.

This house was split into duplex apartments sometime after WWII. By 2000, it had fallen into such disrepair it was about to collapse. It was restored to it's original splendor at a cost of over $5 million. The organization approached the ham radio club which I used to belong to about building a ham station of the early twenties vintage. The research indicated the original owner had an antenna farm. They decided not to go there.
