Feh! Check this guy out. This is what happens when you leave an engineer with mad machine tool skills and too much time on his hands alone in the machine shop. He has built two 1:3 scale Ferrari 312pb race cars with running V-12 engines. His next was a Ferrari 330p4 and he has completed the engine for a Ferrari 250 GTO as a start to building the complete car. The 330s have gasoline-fuel 103 cc v-12s, scale operational 5 speed transaxles, hydraulic disc brakes, correct, operational steering and suspensions and molded rubber tires. It took him over a year to tune the exhausts so they sounded like a real 312 but a couple of octaves higher. Fiat/Ferrari has given him access to factory documentation and specs so that the cars will be as exact as possible.
