Thinking about getting one of these.

So tell me what you think.

Kind of has a retro look to it. Reminds me somewhat of an old 350CBR. Not sure why but it caught my eye. =)

My thoughts as well. Though, Pilar's boss just asked me "Why not get a Triumph for around the same price but with more retro features?" Said feature would be one, a kick start along with electric. I suppose that may be a good question. That being said, I dont know much about Triumph.

Something about the Kaw just speaks to me over that of the Bonneville.

    Any thoughts?

    Btw..

Here is a site that is in English.

    http://www.kawasaki.co.uk/W800

Id link to the US site but the bike is not sold in the states.

    Edit:

I cant seem to find a solid on this but, it appears to get 45mpg on average. A lot lower than a scooter but more than the average car. Approximately 4k€ less than a car with cheaper insurance too. More to my styling than a car also. Plus, with an average temp in January of around 51F I can ride year round with warm clothing. The low average index on rain is also a plus for motorcycle riding daily.

I'd be more comfortable working on a Jap bike. I guess you could study the engine diagrams and other parts layouts and decide what is better to your brain.
My last memory of a Triumph was the one sitting in my friend's kitchen 29 years ago. It took up residence there.
    These days I've downsized.

That's funny. A good note on which to turn in.

This might convince you to buy the Triumph instead:

All the world’s a stage, but obviously the play is unrehearsed and everybody is ad-libbing his lines. Maybe that’s why it’s hard to tell if we’re living in a tragedy or a farce.

At least the Kawasaki doesn't utilise Lucas electrical components xD

Why aren't these sold in the US?
