Interesting thing with Alfred E. Newman, didn't discover until several years ago he predates Mad Magazine, the face kicking around American pop culture since the 20s at least. Also, just today looking up the 73 Mad cover, found that K3SUK did a number of things for 73, some, at least, writtern. The call is current (apparently escaped the censor) , but I don't know if the current holder is the 73 guy.
