    Toughest ride in the South

If you like bike rides, click here. It's like 104 miles long and uphill both ways. April 22, 2012.

Yeah, but there won't be any snow on it in April and they're all wearing shoes. Wimpy.
All the world’s a stage, but obviously the play is unrehearsed and everybody is ad-libbing his lines. Maybe that’s why it’s hard to tell if we’re living in a tragedy or a farce.

Ya never know: a freakish snow storm passed through that general area in April 2009.

That race must be for the southern girls.

The men around here do this one: linky. Check out the elevation profile on that...

(Uh, no sexism intended... I couldn't do either!)

Biking is serious biz out here. It's not overly unusual to see a $5K bike on top of a $3K car.

The guys at work do "24 Hours at Moab" and other challenges. They're animals when it comes to this stuff.

If I get my schidt together, I might do a bit of hiking this summer.

$5k is cheap for a high-end road bike. Go price a Trek Madone or any Orbea some time.

Yea, I was gonna pester you about the hiking thang after ski season. You can pack in camera gear, I'll pack the radios.

I have not visited Ouzel Falls in years, and that is a shame. This state is a freaking wonderland.

Yeah, but those guys don't drive $3K cars.
