    Good ham radio media hit

    This article about a near-space balloon launched by some local high school students with the help of the school's amateur radio club appeared in today's San Diego Union-Tribune.

    BTW, my QTH is visible in the lower left center area of the bottom photograph showing south San Diego county.
    All the world’s a stage, but obviously the play is unrehearsed and everybody is ad-libbing his lines. Maybe that’s why it’s hard to tell if we’re living in a tragedy or a farce.

    BTW, I thought the lower left was Tijuana, but then, I guess there isn't a whole lot of difference. :stickpoke: :rofl:

    I can see Mexico from my front porch. Well, not really, but I can see it from my roof in the winter time when the trees are bare.
