    Outbacker joey

So, On top of a few dipoles and my idea of a bud dipole I have been thinking about one of these for desk top QRP. Yes, I know QRP + a compromised antenna, pain is headed my way. Anyway, anyone have any experience with this particular antenna? Useable or pos? I really cant find many reviews on this particular Oubtacker.

If you have had experience with this antenna, direct mount to the rig as suggested or desktop tripod with counterpoise? Or scrap the idea and try something like a full sized outbacker? The reason I am asking about these particular antennas is that I have access to both free. Free is always good. :D

Ofc, as I said, homebrew antennas are also a given. But some days I will just feel lazy and want op quickly.

Sounds more like a baby wallaby than an antenna.
All the world’s a stage, but obviously the play is unrehearsed and everybody is ad-libbing his lines. Maybe that’s why it’s hard to tell if we’re living in a tragedy or a farce.

Lol. It looks more like an over sized Rubber ducky with swapping posts.

I have one. It works adequately for what it is.

You have to make sure the counterpoise stretched to the right length.

I've used it on all bands up from 6m to 75m.
