    "How's the weather out there?"...

A new all encompassing 'weather' thread. There's no requirement that you keep weather discussion here, but if you simply want to say how wet, cold, hot, or windy it is.. this is a great place to do it. :)

    -------------------

Weather girlie on the talking box just told me there could be wind gusts up to 75mph today.

I'm skeptical. Hurricane force winds and it's treated as a bullet point? Pshaw.

Had gusts up to about 65mph last night, and it went from 54 to 23 overnight. Thankfully, the landlord and I learned his antenna mast, holding a 2 meter beam and rotator) will withstand the winds :)

18 here at the moment, but should rise to the mid 60s. Still got to cover the orange trees and, uh, well, the oregano.

21 when I got up this morning. 70+ day before yesterday. Sunny, no rain/snow/sleet/ice in sight.

    Dry, dry, dry.

The most dry January in a long time. Currently 39 with no wind and no clouds. Our high yesterday was about 42 with low at 27 overnight.

    We need RAIN!

Been dry here after a rainy fall. We had a small amount of rain on Monday, about .2", but it's starting to look worrisome. Typical SoCal pattern for a La Niña winter though—wet fall, dry winter. Currently 39°F (4°C, 277°K) and sunny.
All the world’s a stage, but obviously the play is unrehearsed and everybody is ad-libbing his lines. Maybe that’s why it’s hard to tell if we’re living in a tragedy or a farce.
